Challenge:
Many a times, the pet-owners because of time-constraint or distance issue, they are unable to consult veterinary doctors as and when required. In order to provide, anytime online consulting vet service, we have come up with 'Pet-Vet App'
Solution:
Pet- Vet is an app which consists of an online as well as offline vet consultation process. This app will be able to book appointments of the animal doctors and it will also contain information related to the pets such as their vaccination history, a pet community for Q/A and so on. This will also help the veterinary doctors who are practising alone or want to start working as a consultant, may help in job generation as well.

User Research Summary:
For an online vet consultation app to be developed, I held a survey of about 20 people who are pet-owners and belonged to different areas of work and age group. I was able to gather some useful insights from the survey and this led me to cater different issues of a user to solve their problems.
Questions Asked:
1. Type of pet you own/owned?
2. How often do you take your pet for a check-up?
3. What do you usually look into a vet when you take your pet for a check-up?
4. Would you prefer an online consultation for your pet in case of urgency?

Learning Outcomes:
-
Through this exercise, I was able to empathize with the audience and their problems. I learnt that especially in a developing country like India, the problem of pet-management is a lot & very less veterinary doctors are seen
Through this app, it will prove to be a platform for many aspiring vets to get work freelance and at anytime -
The audience will not be bound by time-limit & shall be able to see a vet at any point of time
